LAMP-weekly-mix-58Had a blast this week hanging out in the studio with long time friend and musical genius Chad Kenney aka Goj!ra and for those of usa who don't speak Japanese or just plain don't care DJ GODZILLA!!!!!!! No only seriously it was great having Republic of chad in the studio this week getting to see how another musician who I have great respect for goes through their mixing routine. I of the primary reasons we had him join in the weekly mix series is because of his insane ability to mix near any two tracks together similar they were meant to go together. He takes you on a seamless journey through then many unlike genres. At that place's Hip Hop, R & B, House, Trap, a lot of Bass, a little Pop, and some old school stuff also. Most of all and peradventure about heady is we get to share with you 1 of my favorite mix series on the planet DJ Godzilla - Ebb 10 Menstruation [Function half dozen].The Ebb 10 Menses series is a projection by DJ Goj!ra that has been ongoing for the by several years and has at present resulted in it newest edition Ebb 10 Menses [Part 6]. Information technology is an impressive collection of tracks. Having an extremely eclectic range and actually showing off DJ Godzilla'south vast knowledge of all types of music. The serial is exactly what the title suggests. A wave of music that continuously fluctuates while transcending through its many dissimilar peaks and valleys. It was seriously so much fun to exist able to sit in the studio and scout this master at piece of work. I call back many a crazy nighttime hanging out at BrewCo on Wed nights at what was the merely place at the time we could go and get our dose of some practiced ol' style booty shaking music without leaving Westwood. Over the years Chad has gone on to become i of the most talented DJ's I have ever come up across as well as starting a full fledged record label Shifty Rhythms. You might remember a little popular up party we did together at the Venice Music Crawl a lilliputian while dorsum. Over the past two years the label has had several releases plus a few new releases coming upwards that they are very excited near. Its a large week for Shifty Rhythms this week as they are jubilant their five Year Anniversary this Sat at No Filter. Its Gratis all you take to do is RSVP.
